Video games at the Library????

That's right! The library is going to start buying video games. Once they are added to the collection, you will be able to borrow them. Have you ever wanted to try out a game before you buy it. Maybe the game you want is just toooo expensive right now.

***So here's the thing. We need your help selecting games to purchase. First of all, what platform do you prefer? Playstation 2, Playstation 3, XBOX360, Wii? Now, what games would you recommend? Travis Morrison is a high school senior, champion diver and one of the most popular kids in his class. He has everything going for him. He knows diving is his passion and that he is the best diver on his high school team. Everyone is counting on him to take his team to the state championship. He has a gorgeous girlfriend that he is crazy about, a best friend who knows him better than anyone and a little sister that he really doesn't mind hanging out with. Life couldn't be better and then one day tragedy strikes. When Travis receives devasting news, his life and the lives of everyone around him are changed forever. This is a story of personal choice and quality of life that will have you reaching for a tissue. It will make you stop and think about what you would in the same situation. This was a quick read, partly because it's about a controversial topic and partly because I just couldn't put it down.

Teen Survey and Raffle

How Would You Improve the Teen Area?

We would like to spruce up the teen area in the library and we need your input. We have put together a brief survey to help us figure out what needs to be done.
